The Ultimate Summer BBQ

posted in: Life in Japan | 0

Through relationships at our church Cathalain met another American who came to Japan as a missionary. While serving she met her husband, a Japanese man, who is currently a pastor at a church in a town south of Nagoya. For their summer vacation they decided to spend two weeks with parents near where we live.

Their last day of vacation they invited a bunch of folks out for a summer party. The food was all grilled and tasted incredible. After dinner the kids watched a quick episode of Anpanman (a famous cartoon) and then we ended the night with fireworks. This was the first time for Tobin to be able to do sparklers himself. He had a lot of fun!

This time was a great time of fellowship and a time to build relationships with those in our church.
