On November 9, we will host a Welcome Sunday! The idea came from combining two suggestions—our intern’s idea to have a brunch before church one Sunday, and a church member’s desire to hold a special service introducing our church and worship to people who have never attended before.
During the brunch, I will share about what a Christian church is and introduce our church in particular. One of our members will give a testimony, and we’ll enjoy fellowship together over brunch. Friends who are invited will be encouraged to stay for worship afterward.
The goal of this event is for our members to invite their friends—especially those who have never been to church—to come and learn more about what church is and why Christians gather for worship.
Please pray that our members will take the opportunity to invite friends, that those friends will come, and that everyone who attends will gain a deeper understanding of why and how Christians worship.
