A picture from the gathering celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our Presbytery. One of our girls was struck thinking this represents three different prefectures or “states” of churches in our denomination and these 15 churches and church plants are about the same size as our home church in Florida. It was a stark contrast and a realization of a child to see and understand how great the need is here in Japan.
As part of the celebration each church sang a praise to the Lord and updated the Presbytery. Michael gave a brief report of our church plant.
For many Japanese it was a great encouragement to see so many fellow Christians be gathered. It was also an encouragement to hear snippets of all God has done over these past 50 years. Pray for the Holy Spirit to bring renewal and revival to our region! Pray for workers as the harvest is plentiful and truly the workers are so so few.
