This past week, the Shiga Session and their wives invited Cathalain and me to lunch before our departure for America. Although one elder was unable to attend, it was a sweet time of fellowship as we reflected on the past thirteen years of partnership and friendship we have shared with Shiga Church.
We are deeply grateful for the faithful support and encouragement of Pastor Aoki, his wife, and the Shiga Session. Please pray for our continued relationship with the church, and especially for the Session as they oversee the ministry at Nagoya Central Church during our absence. We are thankful for their willingness to serve and ask the Lord to give them wisdom, unity, and strength in the months ahead.
