Every year Bruce and Susan come to Japan around November. Bruce is the team chaplain and is quite an encouragement in the Spiritual Life Department. We are so grateful after 30 years of ministry in Japan they still keep close connections to the our field and still find ways to serve directly in Japan.
This past Wednesday we were able to catch up over dinner. As you might be able to see from the pictures we went for a traditional Japanese meal of Okinomiyaki. There is a grill on the table where you place a batter and create a pancake shaped casserole. (Well, that’s the best I can do to describe it.) It’s quite delicious and was the perfect meal for catching up with the Young’s. What fun times!!
