This week I went to Heart and Soul, an international bilingual worship service lead by the MTW Seminary team. The Yakuza Pastor was the main speaker at this service. Here is an article describing who this pastor is and little about his conversion. As you can imagine this man has a powerful testimony since he was once entrenched in the Japanese mafia and actually became a Christian while in prison. Pray for this pastor and his ministry to many people who are scorned and looked down upon in Japanese society. Pray also for a man I rode home with who was also former Yakuza and who heard the Gospel for this first time this evening. Pray the words he heard would sink into his heart and he would come to understand God’s grace.
