MTW’s Response to Ebola

posted in: MTW, Pray | 0

From MTW’s Coordinator Dr. Lloyd Kim,

At the urging of our West Africa partners, we are asking the PCA and Christians worldwide to pray for West Africa and ask God to have mercy on the people suffering because of Ebola. Nathaniel, one of our national partners there, says, “Communities are facing terrible suffering in the midst of hopelessness. We believe this is the time for the church to stand with our brothers and sisters to combat fear with tangible compassion, love, and prayerful support. This is the time that global churches can rise and encourage West African churches . . . in such a time as this, do not be silent. We need your prayers, your voice, and your relationship.”

Please share this call to prayer with your supporters, churches, and friends. We are also using the hashtag #PrayForWestAfrica in social media so that we can share hope, prayer requests, and prayers together.

If you would like to see what MTW is doing, how to pray, or read Nathaniel’s letter, go to www.mtw.org/ebola.

Thank you in advance for lifting up our brothers and sisters in West Africa to the Lord of Mercy, Jehovah Rapha, our Healer.
